The Healing Power of Science, Nature and You
Integrative medicine combines medical science with holistic care. Rooted in evidence-based practices and enriched by the principles of lifestyle medicine, I empower patients to take an active role in their health journey. Together, we will create personalized strategies that promote balance, vitality, and sustainable well-being for the mind, body, and spirit.

Why Dr. Tess Fab?
What sets me apart from other practitioners is my combination of Ivy League and UCLA training and specialized integrative medicine expertise. I am board certified by the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) through the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS), just as I am Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).

Dr. Tess Fab Approach
Supportive Style
I believe in the transformative power of small, meaningful changes and approach the doctor-patient relationship with compassion and positivity. As a mom of three, I understand the daily challenge of balancing self-care with life’s many demands. By building resilience, creating space, and practicing self-compassion, we will work together to craft a lifestyle that sustains and supports you through all its demands.
Conventional Steps
As an Emergency Medicine physician, I’ve honed the ability to quickly assess patients by synthesizing chart reviews, labs, vital signs, and physical exams to guide treatment. People often come to me with complex histories, years of symptoms, and burnout from conventional care. I help them navigate their health journey, identifying overlooked conditions and empowering them to advocate effectively with specialists.
Personalized Integrative Medicine Plan
I focus on uncovering the root cause of a person's symptoms and develop a personalized treatment plan. The plan often includes lifestyle adjustments, mind-body techniques, complementary medicine referrals, and nutraceuticals. When appropriate, I provide a curated, affordable selection of products from Fullscript (a supplement pharmacy). If labs are needed, I use Rupa Health, which offers convenient in-home blood draws.

Patient Care

I work with children, teens, and adults to maintain their well-being and provide guidance on preventative medicine. I serve as an advisor and guide, helping patients set realistic health goals and supporting them on their journey. I have helped patients with:

Virtual Acute Care Visits
I treat all patients like friends and family by making myself available for those unexpected health issues that arise at inconvenient times. I offer same-day responses and 15-minute virtual acute care visits for established patients and their minor children.
State Licenses and HIPAA
Licensing and telemedicine laws are strict! I have been at the forefront of telemedicine since before the COVID era and I stay up to date on relevant regulations. Make sure your telemedicine providers are licensed in your state and are using HIPAA compliant communications platforms and electronic medical records. I always use the most secure technology and ensure my licenses and credentials are current.
